PE: Our PE days are Wednesday (inside) and Friday (outside).

Please make sure your child is wearing the correct PE kit on PE days. The school PE kit is: trainers, black jogging bottoms, white t shirt and a black jumper or their school jumper. Please also ensure that your child is not wearing any jewellery and that if they have long hair it is tied up. 

Phonics: Please ensure your child's phonics folder (with their books) comes in to school every day so that they have it available when it needs changing. The book changing day will differ depending on which group they are in and where they are in the teaching cycle. 

Library: We go to the library every Thursday so please can your child's library book come in to school to be changed on Thursdays. 

Reading: We encourage the children to read their phonics book at least 3 times a week. The children are already familiar with the phonics books that have been sent home. This is so that the children can focus on fluency and speed of reading at home. 

Homework: Homework is set at the end of a half term and this is sent home on parent mail. You have all half term to complete some of the work and then send it to the class email so it can be celebrated with the children. 

Spellings: spelling test take place on a Friday and new spelling will be given at this time. If children get all 5 words correct they get a spelling Bee sticker.
